About the Role
The Medical Imaging Specialist (MIS) serves as the field-based clinical expert responsible for appropriately engaging with HCP’s for site start-up in Illuccix scans. MIS engages in medical and scientific exchange and gaining insights in support of Telix Pharmaceuticals’ products, research areas, and disease state of interest. The MIS will develop and maintain long-term, credible, peer-to-peer professional relationships with medical experts in the fields of oncology, urologists, radiologists, and nuclear medicine and other medical disciplines related to the diagnosis and/or management of patients within the Company products. Through scientific exchange, the MSL will communicate and advance the scientific platform aligned with the overall medical communications and Medical Affairs strategies. The MIS will aid in new site onboarding, helping the site optimize settings and protocols to enhance experience with Telix products and services.
*We will be hiring one MIS in each of these 6 regions: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, North Central, and West.*
About you
You have at least two years’ experience with technical aspects of PET/CT scanning with NGI’s required. You have experience in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients undergoing scans for diagnostic purposes, preferably in prostate cancer. You are certified by either the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART). You live within close proximity to a major airport.
You are also open to flexibility in work hours to enable collaboration with global colleagues and stakeholders across the USA, Asia-Pacific and EMEA and are open to travelling for the role. This role will require heavy travel, 3-4 days per week in the field, covering 1/6 of the country. Our US office is based in Fishers, IN so travel may also be required time-to-time for regional events.
